Long Duration Rentals for Students

Equipment rentals to students of most FAAD programs are limited to 3 business days. In some cases students might require equipment loans/rentals for longer than 3 days for specific projects and assignments. In this case the equipment room managing the required equipment must be provided specific information and receive the necessary approvals, in advance, in order to generate long-duration rentals.
Please email the applicable equipment room with the following information. The equipment room cannot release equipment for longer than 3 days without this information.
Central Equipment Room (CER) – EquipmentRoom@sheridancollege.ca
Photo Equipment Centre (PEC) – PhotoCentre@sheridancollege.ca
- Class code & class title
- Instructor name
- Project/assignment name
- List of specific equipment required
- Reason for extended rental period
- List of approved students (incl. full names and ID numbers)
- Email to equipment room with appropriate AD and/or Program Coordinator approval – this is mandatory
